John Hancock has announced their new Protection SUL 2012 with the following advantages over the Protection SUL 2011:

- Low-cost premiums in a variety of funding designs, including limited-pay, full-pay and single-pay scenarios

Announcing 2 New Indexed UL products from Pacific Life

Pacific Life has recently introduced 2 new indexed UL products:

1. Pacific Indexed Accumulator 4 (PIA 4)
2. Pacific Indexed Performer LT (PIP LT)

The PIA4 product will be replacing the PIA 3 product and is focused on minimum lifetime level premiums with higher cash values in early policy years.  The PIP LT is an entirely new product and is designed for short pay scenarios with death benefit coverage to age 100 and strong projected values in later policy years.

Lincoln National Commission Reduction Update!

  Lincoln National has recently announced a commission reduction for the MoneyGuard product effective 03/10/2012.  This change will effect both single pay and multi pay business nationwide, including business conducted in New York.

Lincoln Benefit Announces Revised Liquidity Guarantee Rider

Lincoln Benefit has recently revealed some changes to their very popular liquidity guarantee rider.  Starting January 23rd, 2012 the following improvements will be added to the Legacy Secure II and Legacy Choice II products:
1.  Availability has been expanded to a wider range of ages and rate classes.  More clients will now be able to qualify
2.  Benefits have been made available starting in policy year 8 with refund percentage increases annually through year 20.
3.  Policy owners paying less than the life guarantee premiums may still be eligible to recieve partial benefits.
